Who Are We?

Reynold Liang,

Co-Founder

I am a first-generation Asian American entrepreneur, born in the Bronx but spent most of my life around the Brooklyn and Queens border. I grew up in New York in the 80's/90's, was able to witness all the crazy changes growing up here, good and bad. Three generations worth to be exact and with that all the things that make New York, New York! Through all the struggles to reach the low and high points to stay on top! With the legalization of cannabis and it being increasingly destigmatized, there is a huge opportunity to provide the right type of products and services for the people of New York and use it to help the people still fighting that struggle! Our mission in store is to go above and beyond to bring those high-quality cannabis and related products to the neighborhood of Bushwick responsibly and back it up with exceptional customer service too!

Besides what we are offering on our shelves, outside the store the goal is to do all sorts of community outreach! We are partnering with programs that provide educational opportunities to the disadvantaged of all kinds. We advocate for and will provide pinpoint accurate education to the community on cannabis, its effects, and responsible usage in efforts to keep dispelling the myths that have led to so much misery in our communities. We will be providing on-site job training in collaboration with Local 338 RWDSU/UFCW so we can hire locally and offer union jobs!

I’m also a first-generation Asian American whose father was a cab driver and mother was an at-home seamstress. I grew up in the Bensonhurst and Midwood areas of Brooklyn, went to middle school in Coney Island, and high school in Manhattan. Growing up and having spent a lot of my time in different parts of the five boroughs, I’ve seen all these different neighborhoods grow and change. Opening a dispensary and being part of the growing cannabis movement is how I see myself having a positive impact and contributing to the city that I’ve always loved and am proud to be from.

Similar to Reynold, my mission is to provide our patrons with high-quality products along with the best customer experience possible. Whether they be the hardcore enthusiasts, the occasional customers, or someone in the neighborhood that’s curious, we’ll aim to cater to all their needs. In addition, I want to educate the community about cannabis, dispel the many myths that have gone unchecked for far too long, and encourage responsible use.

When I look back at what kept me on the right path to success, I could always point to people who were looking out for my best interests and giving me advice. Whether it was my cousin helping me with my college applications or an older friend making sure I stayed out of trouble, I credit a lot of people for making me the person that I am today. To that end, with the proceeds from our cannabis dispensary, I envision partnering with programs that emphasize youth mentoring. The best thing we can do for them is to share our experiences and provide guidance
